Dr. Andria Schur, MHS Principal
Dr. Andria Schur is in her second year as Montgomery High School’s Principal.
Dr. Schur has four children,
two of which are currently enrolled in MISD. Her oldest son recently graduated from Texas A&M and
is now an officer in the Army. Her second son recently returned from Hawaii
where he was stationed as a Marine and now attends college as a finance major.
Dr. Schur earned her doctorate from University of Texas in Austin, her Masters from University of
Houston Clear Lake, and her Bachelors degree from University of Houston. She just completed her
third year as the high school Principal of Carl Wunsche Sr. High School where they achieved double digit gains across all content areas, as well as growth in scholarship earnings, community partners,
and student internships prior to this pandemic year.
In 2018, she was asked to present at the National Academy Career Conference and serve as a model
school leader. Prior to Wunsche, she served as a high school Principal in Houston ISD at Barbara
Jordan High School for Careers and Waltrip High School. She also served as an Associate Principal
at the Early College and Executive Director in Clear Creek Independent School District following her
teaching career in Pasadena.
Dr. Schur is eager to bring 22 years of educational experience to her home
community, Montgomery ISD, and our high school, Montgomery High School.

Class of 2025 Assistant Principal
Mrs. Hardy earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Houston and Master’s Degree at SHSU.
Her passion for serving others led her to teach and coach for 21 years and then into Administration. This is Mrs. Hardy’s 31st year in Education and her 8th year in Montgomery ISD.
Mrs. Hardy is married to her husband, Guy and is the parent to two “grown” children, and “GiGi” to four AWESOME grandkids!!!
She can't wait to see what this year holds for all the students at MHS!!
Class of 2022 Assistant Principal
Mrs. Griffin is a 1997 graduate of SHSU and has a B.A. in English and Spanish and a M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction.
She began her educational career at MHS in 2005 and taught English for several years before moving into administration in 2018.
She is married and has two children who attend school in the district.
Mrs. Griffin is excited to see how she can help all the students of MHS succeed this year!!

Class of 2023 Associate Principal
Dr. T. will be starting his 7th year in Montgomery ISD and is excited to be returning to Bear Country. The first four years he served as the Associate Principal at MHS then worked at Lake Creek for two years in the same capacity. He is familiar with the rich tradition at Montgomery High School and looks forward to supporting all students in their activities.
He earned his Ph.D. from Texas A&M in Education Administration and cheers for the TCU Horned Frogs, where he earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees.
Dr. Tommaney has been a multi-sport athlete all his life. He played football at TCU and stays active with triathlons--having completed four full Ironmans and twenty 70.3 distance triathlons.
He is looking forward to supporting our teachers and partnering with our parents to help our students succeed at the highest levels possible.
Class of 2024 Assistant Principal
Mr. Winfield earned his Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in 1995 and his Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M. He is starting his 26th year in education including 8 years as an administrator. He has been an Assistant Principal for 5 years at Montgomery JH and is starting his first year at Montgomery HS.
Mr. Winfield has been married for 24 years to his wife Lisa and has two sons a Junior at Texas A&M and a senior in High school.
He enjoys all high school sports and Aggie football.
He is excited to see his students he had at MJH and how they have matured into young adults. He is looking forward to a great school year!
