Welcome to Art with Mrs. Sturdivant, where creativity starts here!

I am so proud and honored to be a founding Art teacher at LCHS! In 2015 I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors Degree in Art History and a minor in Business Foundations. A couple years later I returned to school to get my teaching certification in Early Childhood, ESL, and All Levels Art. My husband Patrick and I both graduated from MHS and we now live in Montgomery. In our free time we love traveling, watching movies, and going to concerts.

This is my third year teaching high school Art for MISD, and since 2012 I have taught various art classes to both children and adults. Art is truly my passion, and I cannot wait to inspire creativity in my Art 1, Drawing, Painting, and AP 2D Design classes this year!

Please do not hesitate to contact me through email if you have any questions or concerns. Let's make this year amazing!
