                               Welcome to Music!

Andrea Gauthier Image

My name is Andrea Gauthier and I began teaching in 2008. Before joining the Lone Star family, I taught three years of junior high choir in Waller ISD and Magnolia ISD, and three years of elementary music in Willis ISD. Montgomery has been my hometown since I was 4 years old and I graduated from MHS in 1998.

I attended Sam Houston State University where I completed both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Music Performance. After completing my performance degrees, I continued my education and received my Teaching Certificate in 2008.  In addition to teaching, I am a full time mom. When I’m not at school, I’m with my family. We love spending ALL of our spare time hanging out as a family.

I believe that music is a universal language that anyone can learn to speak, read, and perform. My goal is for students to develop the skills to read, write, analyze and perform music from a variety of genres and styles. My hope is that their musical journey is filled with engaging and fun activities that create lifelong memories and a deeper appreciation for music.

I LOVE teaching at LSE and look forward to meeting and getting to know each child and sharing my love of music with them.

Singing Stars End of Year Songs 2019

Keep Calm and Sing On

I will send important choir documents home with students but you may also locate them below and download them if needed.

Kindergarten students have been very busy learning songs for their “Graduation” program, which will be on May 22nd. They are working very hard during their music class to learn notes, words, and movements for each of the songs but class time always goes by too quickly. I have provided a copy of the song lyrics for each student to take home for extra practice and to help them memorize the songs. I have also uploaded the lyrics and the audio tracks. To access the songs, please click on the link below.

Kindergarten Rehearsal Tracks

When accessing the audio tracks, you may be prompted to request access to the songs. Once you process your request, I will receive a notification and will grant access as quickly as I can.

Any extra time the students can find to practice will help make their program even better. Spending 15 minutes a couple of times a week going over the words will greatly improve their ability to memorize the songs.

Thank you for your continued support of all of our music programs.

5th grade students have been learning songs for their End of Year Celebration, which will be on May 23rd. They are working very hard during their music class to learn each of the songs, but class time always goes by too quickly. I have provided a copy of the song lyrics for each student to take home for extra practice and to help them memorize the songs. I have also uploaded the lyrics and the audio tracks. To access the songs please click on the link below.

5th Grade EOY Rehearsal Tracks

When accessing the audio tracks, you may be prompted to request access to the songs. If you are given a prompt, please request access and it will notify me to grant you access.

Any extra time the students can find to practice will help make their program even better. They don’t need to practice every day for hours and hours but just spending 15 minutes a couple of times a week going over the words will greatly improve their ability to memorize the songs.

Thank you for your continued support of all of our music programs.
