Welcome to fifth grade!
My name is Anna-Sofia Smith and I am so excited to be your child's English Language Arts teacher. This is my fourth year at Lone Star and third year to teach fifth grade. I feel very blessed to be part of such a great school and district.
I have a Master's Degree in Reading from University of Central Oklahoma and a Bachelor's Degree in Education from University of Stockholm, Sweden. I have taught third grade, first grade, and English to Japanese and Swedish students.
My husband Jesse and I have three daughters, Hannah (sophomore), Maya (8th grade), and Emily (6th grade). You will most likely see me at the natatorium where my oldest and youngest swim or at football games cheering on my Oak Hills dancer. I also enjoy reading and spending time outside!
I am excited to see what this year in fifth grade will bring! Thank you for sharing your child with me. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at:
