Leadership Starts Here
Hello! My name is Candis Kuykendall and I have been teaching at Lone Star since the 2008-2009 school year. Last summer I got married in Estes Park, Colorado. My husband and I have 3 dogs in which I love to spoil. Honey and Sadie are our shelter mutts and Darla is a Lab mix.
I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2007, "Eat Em' Up Kats!" I love my job and wouldn't trade it for anything. I take pride in making sure my students have a safe and successful experience in the classroom!
Mrs. Griffith and I will be switching classes this year! She will have your child for Language Arts/Social Studies and I will have your child for Math/Science. We are so excited to be partnering together and sharing the role in your child's success. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please contact one of us and we will be happy to help.
