Welcome to Pre-K !!!

My name is Mrs. Kennedy and I am so excited about being your teacher this year. I am looking forward to a year of learning, giggles and fun adventures!

I have been teaching for 29 years and I LOVE being a teacher! I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Elementary Education and a degree in Special Education. I am so excited to be a Longhorn at Lone Star Elementary!!

I have three beautiful children. Ashley just graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her Mechanical Engineering Degree. Cole just finished attending the Firefighter Academy to become a firefighter and now is in EMT school. Emiley will be attending Lake Creek High School and will be a 11th grader. She will be playing softball. Go Lions!!!

When I am not teaching or planning AWESOME things for us to do in the classroom  I enjoy reading, shopping, going to the beach and sporting events. I also love spending time with my family and friends.  My awesome husband is Coach Pat Kennedy from Lake Creek High School and is a football coach. We have been married for 29 years. You will see me in the football stadium cheering on the Lake Creek Lions this FALL. I hope to see you there.

We are going to have a great year! We will sing silly songs and read funny stories, make projects and learn many wonderful new things. You will meet many new friends who will be waiting to work and play with you each day. I can’t wait for the fun to begin!

                                     Love,

                                     Mrs.Kennedy
