All World History classes will be using the Calendar to follow & complete assignments. Assignments will be turned in via email. This first week back (3/23-3/27), students will be given until Monday (3/30) to complete the Industrial Revolution Paper assigned to them. They will need to be emailed to me no later than 12:00 pm on Monday. After this week, we will start WWI.

World Geography (2nd, 3rd, & 7th):

 

NOTE: There will be some issues that I will have to iron out. So if you cannot access the code or there is anything else you are having problems with, please email me.

 

All World Geography classes will be using a combination of the Calendar & Google Classroom. Students need to join the classroom (you need to use your school email) with the following code for each class (if you are in 2nd period, you will use the 2nd period code):

Students will have until Wednesday (3/25) to be in the Google Classroom as there will be assignments posted.

World Geography Course Outline

Welcome to World Geography! This course provides a look at the interrelation and distribution of both physical and human geographical elements throughout the world.

 

Class Rules:

 

  1. 100% passing.
  2. If you give respect, you will receive respect.
  3. Electronic devices will be used only as directed by the instructor.
  4. Raise your hand for permission to talk or get out of your seat.
  5. When you address your instructor, you will say “sir” or “Coach Davidson.”
  6. Nobody leaves the class unless specifically called for by a LCHS staff member.
  7. No talking when the instructor is speaking to the class.
  8. Bring your required materials daily. 
  9. Treat others like you want to be treated.  “The Golden Rule”

 

Class materials needed daily:

  1. Book: Class Set Provided
  2. Pen or Pencil
  3. Colored Pencils
  4. Paper
  5. Spiral Notebook (can be left in class)

Grades and Assignments:

    • 70% Major assignments / 30% Daily assignments
    • Major grades include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Tests
  2. Notebooks
  3. Projects
  4. Essays or Writing Assignments

  • Daily grades include:

  1. Quizzes
  2. All work that is not designated as a major assignment.
  3. Examples:maps, notes, video questions, identifications, etc.

Students will have at least three major grades per six weeks (with one being a completed notebook). Students will also have a minimum of seven daily grades. 

All late work will be reduced by twenty points a day.

*Late work is not accepted after three days of class time has elapsed. 

All tests will be made up in a timely manner.  Test retakes and corrections are available when a student fails an exam.  *Test retakes will be done on your own time.

If at anytime you are unsure of what to do, please ask!!!  I am here to help you pass and excel in World Geography and as a student at LCHS.  Go Lions!
