My name is Gabrielle Whitlock. I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University.

I have a Social Studies Composite Bachelors Degree, a minor in Geography, and a minor in Speech Communication.

My husband and I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary this June, and have been together 30 years this March.

I have a 20 year old son and a 13 year old daughter. My husband has returned to Sam Houston State University to finish his degree in Criminal Justice and will be graduating in May, and my son is a Junior at Sam Houston State University and double majoring in International Business and Economics, with a minor in Statistics.

My daughter is an 8th grader at Montgomery Jr. High and loves math and choir.

I am the recipient of the Claus Nobel Educator of Distinction Award and three Educator of Distinction awards from Spring ISD.

This is my 16th year teaching.

I spent six years teaching at Carl Wunsche Career Academy in Spring, Texas. I was the team leader for US History and team leader for World Geography as well as an AP US History teacher.

I am a sixth generation TEXAN and very proud to be able to teach our children about our heritage!

Working in MISD has been a life long dream.  I am very excited to be starting my SIXTH year here teaching US History and this year adding Sociology.

I am the National Honor Society Advisor and the UIL Social Studies team sponsor!

My goal is to inspire my students to be life long voters, learners and thinkers!
