Jennifer Harrison, Librarian

Dear SCE Family and Friends,

I hope you all are safe and well!! I cannot wait until our students are back at school, visiting the library, checking out books and learning together. Until that time check out some of the activities provided for you by clicking the Online Learning tab. There are opportunities to create, read/listen to online books, and explore new subjects!

Sending you all lots of love from the library,

Mrs. Harrison

Sharing the joy of reading and the love of books with our SCE students is my sincere pleasure. When my family and I moved to Montgomery in 2006, I was thrilled to be hired as the librarian at Stewart Creek Elementary. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education with a minor in Reading and History from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. After completing my undergraduate degree I attended the University of Texas and received a Master of Library and Information Science degree.

I have been a librarian since 1989. Before moving to Montgomery I worked in Bridge City, TX and Tomball, TX. My husband, daughter and I are proud to be a part of the Montgomery community. It is my goal to make sure that every SCE student is exposed to quality literature as well as a variety of web-based tools and resources.
