New Member Candidates:

Sophomores and Juniors that are eligible (3.3 minimum GPA) will receive an invitation from NHS at school (we do not mail invitations).

Candidates must meet each of the following requirements:

  • Have a minimum 3.3 GPA.
  • Show evidence of active involvement in community service.
  • Show evidence of active involvement in school organizations.
  • Have a good relationships with peers and teachers.
  • Have no history of discipline issues at school.
  • Meet ALL of the deadlines for each part of the application.

Freshmen are not eligible to apply.

If you have received something in the mail from NSHSS, this is not an organization affiliated with
National Honor Society or Montgomery High School.

If you are a transfer student, new to Montgomery High School, but you were already accepted in to NHS at your previous school, please contact Mrs. Sullivan or Mrs. Rees.

PLEASE NOTE: BEGINNING WITH THE CLASS OF 2021, ALL APPLICANTS WILL NEED
TO HAVE A 3.3 GPA
AND HAVE COMPLETED THREE ADVANCED OR AP COURSES.
