I am a graduate of The University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Education).  I have been teaching high school 15 years, and I am proud to begin my 1st year at Lake Creek High School and Montgomery ISD.  This year, I will teach Algebra and AQR.  Previously, I have taught 7th and 8th grade Math, Algebra 1, Geometry, Math Models, Algebraic Reasoning, and Algebra 2.  My husband and I have been married for 4 years, and our grandsons are two and three!

Required supplies for class include a spiral notebook devoted just to math.  You may choose a giant 5 subject spiral to use most of the school year, or several smaller, 1 subject spirals for each six weeks.  Consider how much you want to carry to and from school.

Students will also need at least two different colors of dry erase markers, and a pencil.  Students may also use, but are not required to have, mechanical pencils, color pens, red pens for grading, highlighters, and good erasers.

Please be prepared for class each and every day!!!

In my classes, we focus on processes and concepts that students will be able to use for future mathematics.  I am looking forward to getting to know my students as we become Lake Creek Lions!
