RETEST GUIDELINES
Retesting guidelines:

Students must complete the test review and turn it in prior to the original test to qualify to retest.

Maximum grade on a retest is 75% .

Test may only be retaken once and higher grade will be the official grade.

If student failed due to cheating, student loses opportunity to retake that exam.

Retest must be taken within 4 calendar school days after tests are returned (even if student is absent as grades can be checked online) regardless of absence.

Retests must be taken at a prearranged time with teacher. If student missed the prearranged time, then opportunity for retesting is forfeited.

The student must make test corrections and complete any other remediation practice before they will be allowed to do the retest.

Test cannot be retaken if at the end of the 6 week grading period.

The retest may be different from the original – but will cover the same material.

Retesting is a privilege, not a right
Please refer to the LCHS Student Handbook for the Retesting Policy and MAKEUP WORK Policy in their entirety.
