This last week I have been challenged, and encouraged, by
perspective. One of you said to me in an
email that we are safe at home, instead of stuck at home. A friend of mine likes to say that we “get”
to do something, instead of we “have” to do something. That same friend shared that she had been
having a conversation about the word flexibility, and that lead to the word
adaptability. That smacked me in the
This time is hard and confusing. We are off balance and out of our normal
routines. We are definitely being pushed
out of our comfort zones, including this techno-phobic old lady! But I am learning to be more adaptable! I am
learning new things about technology and excited about the chance to grow!
So I hope I can encourage you this week to embrace this new
adventure. I firmly believe that the
skills you are building: reading, following directions, searching for information,
asking questions, problem-solving, and researching, are going to help you be
more prepared for future learning.
