Daily Bell Schedule
I graduated from Eckerd College in 1996 with a degree in Marine Science, and taught for 5 years in both public and private school in the Tampa Bay area. I moved back Texas and opened Cy-Woods High School in 2006 teaching Biology and for the next 9 years taught a variety of sciences. In 2015 I moved to Montgomery High teaching Biology and Chemistry. I am excited to be a member of the inaugural staff for Lake Creek High teaching classes in the Biological Sciences.
See tabs above for information on individual classes.
Students will expand their knowledge of scientific processes as they apply to the nature of living systems. Extensive discussions and many lab activities relating to biology concepts, terms and theories provide a foundation for understanding the living world.
Students will be required to fill out the online form (found in Google Classroom) for attendance each scheduled class day. Failure to do so will result in an absence from class.

In Aquatic Science, students study
the interactions of biotic and abiotic components in aquatic environments,
including impacts on aquatic systems. This
course may emphasize fresh water or marine aspects of aquatic science depending
primarily upon the natural resources available for study near the school. Students
who successfully complete Aquatic Science will acquire knowledge about a
variety of aquatic systems, conduct investigations and observations of aquatic
environments, work collaboratively with peers, and develop critical-thinking
and problem-solving skills.
