Welcome to Texas History!

My name is Mrs. Mittag and I am so thrilled to teach your child this year! This year, we will study the great state of Texas and its history. Your child will work hard, but will also have a lot of fun as we learn about our great state!

About Me:

I attended Oklahoma Christian University for a year before returning to Texas and received a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. I began subbing for MISD and fell in love with working with children and became a certified teacher shortly after. I can teach any core subject, but am so thankful to teach my passion, history!

I believe that the teacher-parent relationship is very important to student success and I encourage you to email me with any concerns or questions you may have at any time.
