Welcome to Bear Country
My name is Jessica Mitchell. I am originally from Austin, Texas. After High School, I pursued dance at Kilgore College as a Rangerette; I then went on to earn my teaching degree at Texas A&M University. I spent 5 years teaching, coaching, and serving as the ELA department head in Willis ISD. I moved to the Montgomery area a few years ago to open a Christian based Preschool and Daycare, Lone Star Christian Academy. A few years ago I had the opportunity to return to the classroom at MJH, and I love being a part of this incredible team. This year, I will be teaching 8th grade ELA, serving as the 8th grade ELA Department Head, and coaching volleyball, basketball, and track. I am excited for school to start, and I look forward to an amazing year!
