Growing Our Growl
Welcome to second
grade! I am so happy to be teaching in MISD. I have been teaching
since 2000 in Round Rock ISD, Conroe ISD, and Montgomery ISD. I enjoy teaching
Language Arts because I am an avid reader and writer and I believe in the power
of books! Reading is a passion of mine and I enjoy sharing the love of
reading with my students.
I am a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Psychology,
St. Edward's University with a M.A. in Counseling, and Texas
State University with a M.Ed in Elementary Education.
My husband and I live on beautiful Lake Conroe with our three dogs, a
Lab, a Weimaraner, and a Yorkie. I am still awed by the natural beauty of the
area. I absolutely love being part of this wonderful community. I look
forward to a fantastic school year!
