Head Band Director
Kellie Hill is the Director of Bands here at Montgomery Jr. High. She graduated with her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Music Education at Texas Tech University. While at Texas Tech, she was principal Bass Clarinet in the highest Wind Ensemble. During her masters, she was a Teaching Assistant.
Following her degrees she took her first job at MacArthur High School in Aldine ISD. Here she took the third ensemble to U.I.L. and got the first sweepstakes they had received in 20 years. The following year, she moved to the 6th grade level at Escamilla Intermediate and taught beginning band for 7 years.
She is a woodwind player and has performed in professional ensembles along with community musical theater. Along with music, Mrs. Hill also is a die hard Astros fan!
