NHS Members our next to last meeting of the year is Monday AFTER SCHOOL ONLY at 2:45 in the Lecture Hall.
We will be VOTING FOR NEXT YEARS OFFICERS, discussing Sr. Collaring, Induction, Service Hours, and much more! PLEASE DO NOT MISS THIS MEETING.

NHS CANDIDATES! You will be notified next Tuesday and Wednesday if you were accepted into NHS. MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW FOR INDUCTION IT WILL ALSO BE APRIL 22 BUT AT 7:00 PM. YOU Will receive all your induction information with your acceptance letter.

20-5A District Track Results
Congrats to the Lake Creek Track & Field program as both Varsity programs completed a
historic run at the District 20-5A Meet last night.
The Men’s Team won the program’s first ever District Championship scoring 135 points and
clinching the title with a 3rd place finish in the last race of the night over cross town rival
The Men’s team advances 16 athletes to Area next week! All of the following athletes have
advanced to Area!
? Carter Gordy is the District Champion in the 1600m & 3200m
? Chance Niesner is the District Champion in the DIscus & placed 2nd in the Shotput
? Colby Wisinskie places 3rd in the 100m
? Nathan Mares places 2nd in the Long Jump
? Justin Freeney places 3rd in the 200m
? Colton Watson is the District Champion in the Pole Vault
? Ryan Trotter places 2nd in the 300m Hurdles and 3rd in the 110m Hurdles
? The 4X100m Relays of Nathan Mares, Kendrayus Edwards, Rehett Dennis, & Colby
Wisinskie place 4th and advance to Area
? The 4X200m of Nathan Mares, Justin Freeney, Rehett Dennis, & Colby Wisinskie place
3rd & advance.
? The 4X400m team of Trent Byrd, Justin Freeney, Cal Wolfley, & Ty Nichols place 3rd
and advance to Area.
The Lady Lion Track team completed a historic night at the District Meet as well last night
qualifying 13 athletes to the Area Meet!
The night was concluded with a dramatic finish in the 4X400m relay as anchor Lauren Hilty
made up a 50m deficit in the 150m to overtake Montgomery in a photo finish to help her team
? The 4X400m of Lauren Hilty, Kyra Baker, Nicole Smithers, & Hallie Kogler are the first
4x400m in school history to advance to Area.They also set a new school record running
? The 4x100m team of Kinley Niesner, Kyra Baker, Madison Hausler, & Jazzy Payne
advance and set a new school record running a 50.45.
Emma Little completed a historic night qualifying for Area in the 3200m with a 2nd place finish,
the 800m w/ a 3rd place finish, & the 1600m w/ another 2nd place finish.
Kyra Baker is the District Champion on the Triple Jump. Kyra also competed on all 3 relay
teams in which 2 are advancing to the Area meet.The following athletes are moving on to the Area Meet:
? Jazzy Payne placing 3rd in the 100m
? Ivy Baker (2nd in the Discus)
? Kalee Rochinski (3rd in Discus)
? Lauren Hilty (4th in Triple Jump)
? Kinley Niesner (2nd in Triple Jump & 3rd in Long Jump)
? Carmen Uribe 5th in the 800m
Your school, community, & your coaches are so proud of our track athletes! These young men
and women have worked very hard to have the most successful track season in school history!

There will be a LEO club meeting on Tuesday April 13th after school in room B1400. All LEO club members need to plan to attend this meeting. We will be electing our new officers for next year. See you there!
Juniors and Seniors!!! What time is it?? It is almost time for PROM!! Please purchase your tickets soon. As we get closer to prom, please know that there is a link on the LCHS website for a form that needs to be filled out if you are bringing a guest who does not go to LCHS. Forms can be picked up and returned to Dr. Tommaney's office. Photographs by Imagin Light will be available during the night of your prom. If you are interested in having a prom formal picture made, the info for pricing can also be found on the LCHS website.
LCHS Junior/Senior Prom is Saturday, April 17th from 8 pm-midnight at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott. Our theme this year is "Once Upon a Time". Tickets are $85 each and available for purchase on my school bucks until April 15th. If you are unable to pay through my school bucks, we will be accepting cash payments during all lunches next week thru Thursday. Each junior and senior attending can purchase an additional ticket for one guest. This event is formal attire. If you have any questions, please see prom coordinators Mrs. Price, Mrs. Sturdivant or Dr. Tommaney.
We would like to congratulate Olivia Toland and Madison Campbell on Making the 2021 Texas High School Bowling Club All District Tournament Team.
Olivia and Madi will have the opportunity to compete with the All-Girls District Team on Saturday April 17th at Grand Station Entertainment in College Station.
