Howdy!  I am so excited to be teaching at Montgomery Junior High!!

I graduated Cum Laude from Sam Houston State University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2016.  During that time I was also an active member of Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society in education.

On August 10th, 2018 I graduated from Texas A&M with a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as a Graduate Certificate in STEM education.  WHOOP!

I was also choosen by my students at and MJH Teacher of the Month in March of 2019!

I currently hold a Texas teaching certificate in Early Childhood - 6th grade Core Subjects, 4th - 8th grade Math/Science, and English as a Second Language (ESL).  I am committed to incorporating technology in my classroom as I am a certified Level 1 Google Educator and Seesaw Ambassador.

I was born and raised in Conroe, TX.  My husband, Evan, and I both graduated from The Woodlands High School.  I have two children, Nolan and Zoe, who attend Keenan Elementary.   I love animals, and we have quite a large animal family.  We have four dogs (Reed, Freckles, Padfoot, and Cici), two cats (Alex and Aslan), and a gerbil named Marshmallow.

I am a huge Marvel, Harry Potter, and Star Wars fan!!  My husband and I have a Star Wars room in our house that is full of collectibles, posters, and memorabilia.
