4th Grade Writing and Science Teacher
Conference Time: 2:45-3:25
(936) 276-4500 ext. 84994
I am proud to be a 4th grade Writing and Science teacher here at Lone Star Elementary. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Elementary Education. Go Bearkats! This will be my eighth year of teaching. I have spent time in 4th and 5th grade classrooms, teaching reading, writing, science, and social studies. I am a lifelong learner. Teaching and kids are my greatest passions!
My core beliefs of education are that ALL children can learn, the classroom should always be a SAFE and NURTURING environment, that teachers and families should work together for the maximum benefit of the child, and that all cultures and backgrounds should be represented in the classroom.
My husband and I have a beautiful daughter who is a student here at Lone Star. As a family, we love reading books together, baking, doing arts and crafts projects, playing outside, swimming, and going to the beach. We are a pet loving family with three sweet dogs and one mischievous cat.
Thank you for sharing your amazing children with me each school day! I look forward to seeing all those beautiful smiling faces every morning! It is going to be a wonderful 4th grade year!!
