Tim Williams, Principaltwilliams1@misd.org

Mr. Williams received his Bachelor degree from Sam Houston State University and his Master of Education degree from Lamar University.  Prior to becoming Principal, Mr. Williams taught history in middle school, coached high school sports, served as Montgomery Middle School Assistant Principal and was Montgomery Junior High Assistant Principal.  Mr. Williams resides in Montgomery with his wife, Jamie, and their beautiful daughters Jalynn and Kennedy.

Gifford Whitehead, Assistant Principalgwhitehead@misd.org

Mr. Whitehead received his Bachelor of Science in Education from East Texas Baptist University and his Master of Education in Administration from Sam Houston State University.  He has thirteen years of experience in public education.  He was an English teacher, science teacher, coach, and administrator at the middle school and high school level prior to becoming the assistant principal at MMS.  His wife, Melanie, teaches science at Montgomery Junior High.  They have three daughters, Abigail, Aleah, and Ashlynn, all students in MISD.

 

Kristi Morris, Counselornmorris@misd.org

Mrs. Morris recieved her Bachelor degree from Abilene Christian University and her Masters of School Counseling from Sam Houston State University. She has twenty years of experience in education, exclusively in MISD. She has taught reading and ELA. She is married to Chris Morris, head baseball coach of the Montgomery Bears, and they have two fantastic teenagers, Cole and KK.

Dr. Janet Fick, Librarianjfick@misd.org

Dr. Fick is the librarian at Montgomery Middle School.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from the University of Texas at Dallas, a Master of Library Science, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership with a cognate in Library Science from Sam Houston State University.  She has 35 years of experience in education.  Dr. Fick and her husband  have lived in Montgomery for over twenty years.  She has been blessed with eight grandchildren.  Her daughter has followed in her footsteps and is also a teacher in Montgomery.  Dr. Fick loves reading, watching movies, and playing with her cat, Fiver.
