Mrs. Smith, Mrs. McClendon, and Mrs. Lowe
  • Mrs. Smith and her family on a family trip to Colorado.
Mrs. Smith has been in education for 23 years.  She graduated from The University of West Florida with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and continued her graduate study to receive her Master's of Science in Educational Management from The University of Houston- Clear Lake.  Her favorite quote, "Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away," sums up her vision as a principal.  On top of making sure all students are in a loving, safe environment, she believes first in building relationships with her staff and students.  Running a close second, she wants everyone to have fun while learning.  As you can see from her picture, adventure and learning go hand in hand.
  • Mrs. McClendon and her family.
Mrs. McLendon has been in education for 14 years.  She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelors in education and a Masters degree in Educational Leadership.  Her favorite quote by Henry Adams states, "A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops."  Mrs. McLendon influenced a lot of students while she was teaching, but she is so happy to be able to influence every child at Madeley Ranch Elementary.
  • Mrs. Lowe and her family.
Mrs. Lowe has been in education for 16 years; the last 6 years have been in school counseling.  Mrs. Lowe's loves the quote, "When a child is learning how to walk and falls down 50 times, they never think to themselves, "Maybe this isn't for me."  Mrs. Lowe has a passion to help students succeed, and even in their failures, she teaches them to "fail forward".
