Hello!  I am so excited to be teaching art this year! I am a graduate of Texas A&M University. I began teaching 3rd grade in 2011 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Four years later, I moved back home to Conroe where I taught 4th grade reading and writing for three years. I have had a passion for art my whole life, taking classes in my spare time to advance my skills in pottery, drawing, and painting. A couple of years ago I even started my own business creating custom pieces. So I am absolutely thrilled to be teaching art for the first time here at Montgomery Elementary!

I have two fur babies: Delilah (who is 6) and Jessie (who is 13). I love building furniture and art in the workshop and going on epic outdoor adventures to see new places.

I am ecstatic to share my love of art and teaching with the students of MES this year!!
